Jackson is one of my all time favorite places to visit. Mostly because there are like 1000 shops I can walk around and browse. Anyone who knows me well knows I love to window shop. I love getting ideas for home decor, making lists of books I want to read, mentally noting what the new clothing trends are... I love everything about it. My mom and I used to do it all the time when I was younger. I hope it is something that Harper and I get to do together too. This year we went to Jackson to surprise Taylor and Kevin with a birthday celebration! They loved it and were totally surprised. We stayed in the cutest Airbnb for the night and then explored Driggs & Jackson. This trip was so much fun because we were with our best friends Nicole and Kevin. They are the bees knees. Harper had a blast too. She was such a champ in her car seat the whole trip. I love this girl to pieces. There are so many more pictures, but I will be posting them later on so that you can enjoy them separately. I hope you liked your little sneak peak at this amazing adventure!

I've been so busy lately. Blogging has just fallen to the bottom of my to-do list. This week Harper and I worked on a cool collab for a local business. I love working with locals and supporting small businesses. It feels good to be a part of their journey toward success. Anyway, I had the hardest time getting Harper to pose with the wooden camera. I thought she would love it because she is obsessed with my camera. But of course, when I needed her to pose, she just wanted to crawl around and touch everything but her new toy. Thankfully I got some photos. The business owner said that she will be posting them on Jane.com. That is pretty sick. Let me know if you spot Harper in Jane! Baby girl is getting so big and teething like crazy. I hope she grows to love this toy because it could really help her aching mouth. My poor baby. If anyone is interested in collaborating send me an email or post a comment and lets work together!

Guys, being stuck inside this winter has been really tough. I thought I had a glimmer of hope when it started to warm up. Then the Rexburg winds came and ruined it all. I was planning on taking Harper on a sunny walk the other morning until I stepped outside and froze my buns off. So I decided to just get creative and build a tiny fort for Harper and me. I won't lie. It was serious paradise. Harper was laughing the whole time under it. It was so sweet. I just love her so much. She is becoming my best friend. I loved sitting under the blankets getting all sunggly with my girl. I highly recommend building a fort in soon. It is the perfect pick me up for those winter blues. It was pretty perfect for date night too. Taylor and I snuggled and watched a movie under there. It was pure magic.

I'm honestly in disbelief that my baby is 8 months old. Time is going by way too fast. It makes me want to cry. Our Harper is not a baby anymore. She is her own little person. She is crawling everywhere. Not only is she crawling, she is pulling herself up and wanting to walk already. NO. I can't have my baby walking. What in the actual heck. Harper is a little trouble maker. She is getting into anything and everything. Forget about the days where I could leave her alone in a room. Also forget about naps? Anyone else's child start to hate them around this age. I felt a tiny tooth pop out :O. So I am pretty sure the crankiness and lack of sleep have something to do with that. Harper is also babbling and making so many new noises! This is what I have been waiting for. I was so worried about her babbles. I think I need to have her hanging out with more babies, especially some that are older than her so they can teach her. Month 7 was a great month! But I am so excited to experience this month 8. Even though it comes with its own challenges, I LOVE THIS AGE. Harper and I are having so much fun together. She is learning to clap and splash and eat a variety of foods. She laughs at me and motions for me to pick her up. I love this girl and can't wait to have her with me forever and ever.

I have worked with KalleeCoBoutique in the past and was so thrilled when she asked me to collab again. She makes some of the cutest custom baby accessories on Etsy! I fell completely in love with this new Spring line of bows she is putting out. There is nothing cuter than pink and flowery bows. Harper was loving them too. She wanted to eat them all (not ideal for a photoshoot). Seriously you guys snag these while you can. They are to die for! Use code SPRING15 to enjoy 15% off your purchase of $10 or more. Oh and don't worry mamas of boys. She makes cute bow ties too!

A few weeks ago I decided to take some pictures for families for Valentine's Day. I only charged them $10 because let's face it, I am not a professional. I got a ton of people who were interested. Our home has been full of little kids lately. Harper hasn't seen this many kids in her entire life. She is loving every minute of it. I can't believe how social she is! She is going to be trouble for sure. She will be a little flirt just like her daddy. I am so stoked for this Valentine's Day. Even though we have no plans haha. I just love Valentine's Day. Probably because everything is pink, and red, and giant, and heart shaped. I am loving this little set up I have for my pictures. I got everything at the dollar store. They are the real MVP.

Incase you missed it, I did a giveaway on my Lipsense FB Group (Carly's Lipstick Lovers). I decided that I would let Harper help me pick out the winner. She did such a good job. I can't believe how good her motor skills are getting. After I recorded her she was picking out each little slip of paper one at a time. She also tried to eat them haha. I think this is a sign that I should try Baby Led Weaning. I have read about it and I think I will give it a shot. We will start with avocados & squash. Hopefully baby girl likes it! I have a feeling this month is going to be one of the best yet.

This weekend Taylor and I took a little trip over to Boise for my good friend Delaina's reception. They actually got married a year ago, but were waiting to have a reception since Eli was in training for the military. I was so honored to be a part of this special day and celebrate with ma gurl. Her reception was so elegant. It was such a simple and beautiful day. It brought Taylor and I right back to our own wedding. That was my favorite day of all time. Harper had a blast at the reception. She was the star of course. She wasn't sure about dancing though haha. Taylor rocked the dance floor like always. Earlier in the day I got ready with D and all the bridesmaids. I let some of them try my Lipsense. I have to say, I think it was a real hit. You all should try it. It's honestly life changing. All our lips looked fabulous all night long. Taylor and I decided to get a hotel room. It was so nice just relaxing after the wedding. We got some panda express and passed out haha. Not before watching a little Harry Potter of course. I love going a small adventures with Taylor. It helps us reconnect when we can just hang out together. A huge shout out to Taylor because he honestly was the best husband this weekend. He watched Harper all night, danced with all of us bridesmaids, and was just SO MUCH FUN. He is the best ever. I am so happy I married him. He has become a better husband than I could have ever imagined. It's crazy how your love can just keep growing for one another. Marriage is the best.
